I stumbled across this site a few weeks ago looking for a community that can help with using Bryce 3D modeling software and I found this site. What does this site have to offer? Rederosity has a market place where 3D modeling artist can sell there work for others to use at low prices. They offer anything from poser figures to Bryce backgrounds that are high quality 3D renders. On the side of that they also have free stuff made by the community and posted up in there profiles for people to download and enjoy.
When I first stumbled upon this forum the first thing I thought was no ones going to help me here, but I was wrong. This community of 3D modeling artists are willing to help you and are very patient when it comes to beginners. The Forum is always active with tons of tips for beginner’s and experts alike. If I would give a rating to this community it would be a 5 out of 5. So if your into 3D software and are looking to learn go to Rederosity.com you won’t be disappointed.

Pixel2life is yet another tutorial site that has almost every kind of tutorial, from photoshop to Bryce 3D. If memory serves me right this site has been around for about 3+ years. I’ve used this site when I was learning bryce 3D and it became very useful. As always its a community driven site where users submit their tutorials. Most of these tutorials are easy to follow. They have tutorials for novice till expert. All in all this site is pretty good if your wanting to learn a new graphic program or learn a bit of programming.

Bryce was first developed in 1994 by Ken musgrave, Eric wenger and the basic interface was developed by Kai Krause. What is bryce? Bryce is a 3D modeling ang animation software mainly developed to create 3D lanscapes and worlds. Its 1.0 release was in 1996 for the Machintosh. In 1997 Bryce 2.0 was released for both the MAc and Windows platform but the stable version was version 2.1. This software was sold to Corel in 2000, Bryce 4 and 5 were also produced under Corel. After a while Bryce fell off the map because of Corel ignoring requests for new features. It was sold agian in 2004 to Daz3D or Daz Productions, with the release of bryce 6 and some added new features it was revived agian.
Some of the features is the ability to import objects from Poser animation and 3D modeling software and other Daz products. Overall I think this software is one of the best for making landscapes if your animator or just looking to make 3D landscapes as a hobby of yours. I myself have been using bryce since 2004, but abandoned it after 2006. It caught my interest a few weeks ago and decided to give it another go at it and I’m enjoying it. Even though I have to re-learn most of the interface and options its a very easy to use software. I suggest you buy this software for the simple fact that its easy to use and you can let your imagination run and create incredible landscapes or even galaxies with this wonderful software. Go visit Daz’s Site and you can find out more about this software and other products they develop or distribute.
